Junior Deputy Program

Our program is headed by Mr. and Mrs. Lieutenant Sammy Hymes and Lt. Cody Portie. This is a great mentor-ship program in which our deputies and parish youth come together for regular meetings, field trips, and fundraising events. 

Our leaders mentor our youth by developing trusting and long-lasting relationships. Our Junior Deputy leaders faithfully address the importance of character and what it means to be a good citizen.

Our program also hosts our annual Junior Deputy Camp held at our Sheriff's Office Shooting range which is a week-long full of fun, games, and deputies from all divisions come and spend time with our campers. There is no cost to our citizens for their children to attend.
