Belle Chasse, LA - The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO) announces the arrest of Joshua Arnoult, 34, of Marrero and Nathan Wilkinson, 46, of Harvey with multiple charges that includes Theft of Copper and Possession of Burglary Tools that occurred in Belle Chasse.

On the early morning of Friday, May 1, 2026, PPSO District 1 Patrol responded to the complaint of two suspicious individuals with bicycles within a construction site in the 10000 block of Highway 23 near Chevron Oronite. After making contact with the individuals, later identified as Arnoult and Wilkinson, the subsequent investigation by District 1 Patrol Deputies yielded the discovery of them being in possession of copper wiring along with tools commonly used in the commission of a burglary. Deputies determined the copper wiring in their possession was linked to the construction site in the area.

Joshua Arnoult was charged with the following:
-    Criminal Mischief (Trespass/Occupation of a Business)
-    Theft of Copper
-    Simple Criminal Damage
-    Possession of Burglary Tools
-    Monetary Instrument Abuse

Nathan Wilkinson was charged with the following:
-    Criminal Mischief (Trespass/Occupation of a Business)
-    Theft of Copper
-    Simple Criminal Damage
-    Possession of Burglary Tools
-    Outstanding PPSO Warrant
