Sheriff Turlich is Proud to Announce the Launch of the New PPSO Smartphone App

Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. is excited to announce the release of a custom smartphone application for the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO). The app will serve as an innovative way for PPSO to connect with Plaquemines Parish residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.

The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office worked in coordination with TheSheriffApp.com, a brand of OCV, LLC., to develop this mobile app which is designed to offer quick access to PPSO resources and information of public interest that is easy to use. PPSO app users will be notified of traffic and public safety alerts while gaining immediate access to resources and information offered on the PPSO website including employment application, sex offender registry, live traffic camera, Plaquemines Parish most wanted, the ability to submit a tip and much more. 

"We understand that the majority of individuals use their smartphones as the primary means of communication," said Sheriff Turlich. "The PPSO mobile app will offer a better and quicker way to alert, inform and prepare our citizens of public safety issues while giving them immediate access to our resources and information."

The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office app is available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching "Plaquemines Parish Sheriff, LA" or by scanning the QR code in the attached image.
