Drug Interdiction & Crime Enforcement Unit
The Drug Interdiction & Crime Enforcement (DICE) Unit is commanded by Major Kevin Johnson. DICE agents conduct undercover investigations targeting narcotics trafficking and work closely with other local, state, federal agencies in the war on drugs.
One agent is assigned to the DEA Task Force in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a multi-agency task force that is used primarily to identify, infiltrate, and arrest individuals or criminal organizations in the sale and distribution of illegal or controlled dangerous substances in the Metropolitan New Orleans area. Another task force which assists is the Major Crimes Task forced based in Gretna, La.
