PPSO Investigation Leads to the Arrest of South Carolina Man on Federal Charges in Connection to a Missing Belle Chasse area Juvenile

Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. announces that Graham Lovelace, 32, of Taylors, South Carolina has been arrested on federal charges in connection with a previously reported missing juvenile investigation.
On Wednesday, October 6, a Belle Chasse area juvenile was reported missing after not attending school. Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO) Detectives along with a PPSO FBI Task Force Officer safely located the juvenile who was accompanied by Lovelace in the New Orleans area. A subsequent joint investigation conducted by PPSO along with a FBI Task Force resulted in the arrest of Lovelace on federal charges. Lovelace has a criminal history with charges that includes drug possession, resisting arrest and stalking.
"We were able to locate the juvenile safely and reunite her with her family," said Sheriff Turlich. "After a PPSO and FBI joint investigation, federal charges were filed against Lovelace for his involvement in the missing juvenile case."
Graham Lovelace is currently being held on the federal charges at the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center.
