Sheriff Jerry Turlich and PPSO congratulates Deputy John Wigstrom, Deputy Nillyreth Liberato and Deputy Amber Campbell for graduating from the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office Regional POST Academy on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

POST Academy Class 2021-34 consisted of 15 graduates from seven law enforcement agencies. At the conclusion of the 16-week academy, Deputy Campbell received the Physical Training Award and Deputy Liberato received the Sheep Dog Award. The Sheep Dog Award is only presented when the Training Academy Staff observes a recruit that display consistent positive attributes throughout the training period such as leadership, ability to excel intellectually and physically and the desire to succeed.
