Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. would like to take this opportunity to thank ICAM Security in Belle Chasse for donating five Reolink surveillance cameras to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO).

On February 1, 2022, Sam Arafeh, owner of ICAM Security, met with Sheriff Turlich and Captain Jake Serigne, Technology Division, at the PPSO Administration Building in Belle Chasse. Arafeh presented Sheriff Turlich and Captain Serigne with five solar powered Reolink cameras valued at approximately $1800. Of the five cameras, Arafeh donated three pan-tilt zoom cameras and two fixed cameras that will maximize surveillance capabilities in their designated locations. With the assistance of ICAM Security, PPSO successfully installed the five cameras in various locations throughout Plaquemines Parish.

"Along with shifting our personnel to focus on the areas effected by incidents, this is another example of how we will adjust our tactics to better serve our community," said Sheriff Turlich. "This additional tool will allow us to better monitor multiple areas simultaneously while supplying deputies with crucial information to solve crimes. Thank you to Sam and ICAM Security for assisting us with keeping Plaquemines Parish one of the safest parishes in the state."

Family owned and operated, ICAM Security has been installing security cameras in New Orleans and surrounding areas for more than 15 years. A fully licensed and insured company, ICAM security systems and installation services are available for commercial and residential properties.
