Suspects in Connection to the Burglary of Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser's Residence Transported to Plaquemines Parish to Face Charges

Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. announces the two suspects in connection to the burglary of Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser's residence were transported from Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center on Saturday, April 23, and booked with one count of Simple Burglary and one count of Simple Arson.

In addition to the charges relative to the burglary of Lt. Governor Nungesser's residence, Goodfellow has been booked by PPSO Investigators with Theft of a Motor Vehicle from Plaquemines Parish that was used during the course of the incident. Goodfellow has pending charges in St. Tammany Parish and Picayune, Mississippi for crimes committed as she and Kelly were fleeing Louisiana after the Nungesser burglary. Goodfellow was also currently out on bond for multiple charges stemming from a burglary that occurred in St. Tammany Parish prior to the burglary in Plaquemines Parish.

After attending a bond hearing today, Kelly was issued a $40,000 bond while Goodfellow was issued a $55,000 bond. Kelly and Goodfellow are currently confined at the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center.
