Belle Chasse, LA - The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO) announces the arrest of Frederick Bowers, 23, of Pearl River, Louisiana for 25 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen.

A joint PPSO and Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) case yields the arrest of Bowers, a PPSO Correctional Deputy employed at the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center (PPDC), with 25 counts of the felony charge of pornography involving juveniles under the age of thirteen. Bowers was immediately terminated from PPSO, booked at the PPDC and transported to the St. Bernard Parish Jail, where he will be held while awaiting a bond hearing in magistrate court in the 25th Judicial District.
