Kinder Morgan Continues Commitment to Plaquemines Parish with Monetary Donation to PPSO

Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. would like to take this opportunity to thank Kinder Morgan Terminals for providing a monetary donation to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO).

On August 25, 2022, C.J. Barrois, General Manager of the Lower River Region, presented Sheriff Turlich with the generous donation at the PPSO Administration Building in Belle Chasse. Mr. Barrois was accompanied by Michael Mahoney, Director of Operations, along with Jason Frederick as Sheriff Turlich explained the donation will be used to purchase a handheld Motorola radio and a TASER 7 Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).

In return, Sheriff Turlich presented Mr. Barrois with a letter of appreciation noting, "Your donation, on behalf of Kinder Morgan Terminals, will allow us to purchase equipment that is vital to the safety of our deputies as well as the protection of the constituents and visitors of Plaquemines Parish. The ultimate goal of PPSO is to continually improve our training and methods while providing the necessary tools to effectively and safely execute our duties."

With their International Marine Terminal (IMT) located in Myrtle Grove, Kinder Morgan provides energy transportation and storage services in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner for the benefit of people, communities and businesses.
