Two Plaquemines Parish Natives Donate Uniforms for the PPSO SWAT Team

Belle Chasse, LA - Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. David Bulot and Dr. Elizabeth Dickinson for donating new uniforms to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO) SWAT Team.

On April 28, 2023, members of the SWAT team and K9 Vader invited Dr. Bulot and Dr. Dickinson to the PPSO Administration Building in Belle Chasse to express their gratitude for the new uniforms. Dr. Bulot and Dr. Dickinson were also treated to a brief demonstration by K9 Vader and his handler, Detective Bryan Munch.

"We are extremely appreciative when our parish natives decide to give back and contribute to the men and women that protect our community," said Sheriff Turlich. "Special thanks to David and Beth for providing these uniforms for our troops."

Dr. David Bulot is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with the Baton Rouge Oral and Facial Surgery, Fusion Dental Implant Center and Louisiana Oral Surgery Center that graduated from Belle Chasse High School (Class of 1994). Dr. Elizabeth Dickinson is a veterinarian and owner of Three Rivers Animal Hospital in Covington, who graduated from Buras High School (Class of 1998).
