On May 12, 2025, members associated with Lucky's Belle Chasse Casino dropped by the PPSO Administration Building to show their appreciation to PPSO deputies during 
National Police Week by donating a basket filled with various snacks along with water.

Personnel from PPSO were greeted by Lucky's parent company, Louisiana Truck Stop & Gaming Administration's Regional Manager, Charlyse Davis and Marketing Director, William Rosbottom, as well as Lucky's Belle Chasse Casino Manager, Robin Lee. Davis vowed to continually stock the snack basket when necessary! YES! 
Sheriff Jerry Turlich and PPSO truly appreciates Lucky's Belle Chasse Casino for their support and we vow to continue to keep Plaquemines Parish one of the safest communities in Louisiana!
