Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich Jr. announces the arrest of Trenton Pavon, 24, of Belle Chasse with three felony counts of Simple Burglary.

On December 13, 2019, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office (PPSO) District 1 Patrol and Investigations Bureau began investigating multiple burglaries of unlocked vehicles in the area of Good News Avenue and D'Olivier Street. Within an hour of receiving the initial complaint, the patrol deputies, in coordination with investigating detectives, were able to make contact with Pavon and connected him to the burglaries utilizing sophisticated investigative techniques along with security surveillance videos. Pavon was also found to be in possession of various items stolen during the multiple vehicular burglaries.

"Thank you to the responding deputies and detectives for their due diligence and persistence in securing an arrest quickly after receiving the calls for service," said Sheriff Turlich. "Especially with the Christmas season upon us, please remember to lock your vehicles and remove all valuable items daily to avoid the inconvenience of dealing with a situation like this. We want everyone in Plaquemines Parish to experience a stress free holiday season."

This investigation is ongoing with additional charges against Pavon pending. Trenton Pavon is currently confined at the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
