PPSO Participates in "No Shave November" 2020
11/05/2020
As we enter November, you may see PPSO deputies in uniform sporting a beard. Yup, you've guessed it. Sheriff Jerry Turlich has authorized PPSO employees to participate in "No Shave November." All proceeds from participating employees will be donated to the Plaquemines Community CARE Centers Foundation, Inc., a local agency that offers counseling, prevention and education to those who face depression as well as other disabilities.
The C.A.R.E. Center is currently providing services primarily via telehealth due to safety procedures as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. For appointments, please call the main office number at (504) 393-5750. In case of emergency, please call the MHSD Mobile Crisis Unit at (504) 826-2675.
