With the announcement of the mandatory evacuation effective tomorrow, July 11, for the Eastbank of Plaquemines Parish and Oakville (Flood Gate) to Venice on the Westbank, PPSO will increase patrols and visibility to assist and expedite the evacuation process. A high presence of PPSO personnel will remain in the evacuated areas to assure the safety and protection of property owners during this tropical event. Please drive carefully and remain cognizant of your surroundings as the weather may deteriorate.
